Southern California Gas Company Challenge for Student Entrepreneurs

On Friday, March 24, 2017, student teams had an opportunity to show off their entrepreneurial prowess!

Congratulations to our winning teams at the 2017 Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas) Challenge!

Porterville Unified School District's Harmony Magnet Academy received 1st Place for "Money Launderer," a uniquely engineered wallet that sanitizes bills, and 2nd Place for "Future Generation Technology."

Visalia Unified School District's Redwood High School Team's "Simplex" tied with Harmony Magnet Academy's "Nestech" for 3rd Place in this year's competition.

Such impressive ideas from this year's competitors. Congratulations to you all — thank you for your professionalism and innovation.
