Project Purpose: To expose our students to the work environment they are pursuing.

Hours: 60
Compensation: Academic Credit (60 hours = 1 unit)
Number of Students: 7-15
Industry/Occupation: Arts, Media, and Entertainment, Business and Finance, Education, Child Development, and Family Services, Engineering and Architecture, Information and Communication Technologies, Manufacturing and Product Development, Marketing Sales and Service, Public Service
Location: College of the Sequoias, CA
Project Timeline: Semester or full year

Internship Type: One-on-one Internship, Work Experience
Industry and/or Support Partners: We currently have 30 internship partners. Career Technical Education, College of the Sequoias and Kristen M. Foster, Marketing & Public Information Coordinator
Challenges: Finding the students to fill the positions and convincing the students that a non-paid internship is of value.
Key Components: Good relationships with businesses, effective outreach the students. Maintaining quality standards for the students that can enter the program.
3 Year Goal: Develop our student outreach process.
